December 2014

Decorating the Christmas tree!

I was so excited that for the first time in a long time, we have enough room to put out all of my houses around the Christmas tree!

The kids LOVED the train!

St. Nicholas Day!

The kids all got robes and slippers

Enjoying a warm day at the park!

Solomon's work party was at the Rockies Coors field.  We got to go on a tour of the visitors side of the stadium.  Of course, I had to get the picture of the Cardinal jersey!  Also, was surprised to find  out that Matt Holliday, a now Cardinal, used to be a Rockie...the last time the Rockies were any good!

Making Rice Krispy trains!

Khaliel decided to put Ellie's underwear on her horse's head.  He cracks me up!

Brooks family Christmas

We celebrated Apollos' birthday over the holidays with my family.  He had a dragon cake!  This case was so easy to make and turned out really cool!

The September babies!  They are getting so big!

December was a busy month for us full of Christmas and birthday celebrations!  My "baby" turned 7!!!  I can't believe how fast time is flying!  Apollos is becoming a young man too fast!  He is caring, sweet, competitive.  He started Tae Kwon Doh back up.  He is 50 lbs (46th percentile) and 48 inches (43rd percentile).  He loves reading, dragons, science, and dinosaurs.   He tested in the 95th percentile of all 1st graders in the Denver area.  I am so proud of him for how hard he works at school!  We made the decision to pull him out of regular schooled and enrolled him in a virtual academy.  So far, we really like it!  He does almost all his school on-line and just goes to school 1 day a week.  I still can't believe it is free!

Apollos chose Buffalo Wild Wings for his birthday dinner.
